Abstract
Corrosion rates of white cast iron in I.ON acetic acids. citric acids and tartaric acids found in the order of tartaric acid>citric acid>acetic acid. Corrosion rate of cast iron in sodium salts of these acids were in the order of sodiull1 acetate >sodium citrate> sol idull1 tartarate.
