Abstract

Metallurgical charactersitics and advantages of OBM/Q-BOP over conventional LD are described by the data obtained from 230 ton Q-BOP practice at Chiba works. Operational results are reported on the increase in waste gas reco-very and improvement of dynamic control system. Further, operational results of newly developed LD-KG are reported.
