Abstract
SIR JEHANGIR, DR BANERJEE and friends : It is indeed a gratification for me to be present at the National Metallurgical Laboratory on the occasion of the Silver Jubilee Celebrations of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research. A Silver Jubilee is no doubt an occasion for enjoyment and I am here to share with you all the revelry in store for the day ; but to me this is also an emotional experience.
