Abstract
A progress report on the structure and high temperature properties of two 6 tonne heats of 2½ Cr IMO steel is given. Effect of aluminium addition on properties has been critically examined. The properties of the heat, which was not aluminium killed, are comparable to international standards for this quality steel. (Shri S. Sharma, Dr. T.
